Housing

Camp participants, except day campers, will be housed in air-conditioned dorms on the Mars Hill University Campus. Campers MUST BRING their own pillow, sheets, blanket, and towels.

All dormitory rooms are double-occupancy. Rooming requests will be considered, but not guaranteed. Keys will be provided to students for their rooms for the week. If a key is lost, there will be a $25 charge.

Check-In will be Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. in the lobby of Moore Auditorium. Late arrivals need to call ahead and a camp counselor will be available to check them in. Check-out from the dormitory will be Friday, June 21, 2024, from 10:00-12:00.

Meals

Meals are provided beginning with dinner on Sunday and ending with lunch on Friday — 15 meals in all. All meals will be served in the University Dining Hall, located adjacent to the music building. The dining service offers a cafeteria-style menu with a wide variety of healthy food choices.

What should I bring to Camp?

For rehearsal…

  • Instrument (reeds, mutes, valve oil, cork grease, swab, etc.)
  • Wire Music Stand
  • Blank Staff Paper
  • Pencil

For the residence hall room…

  • Twin Sheets or Sleeping Bag, Blanket
  • Pillow
  • Towels
