The web development program gives you a strong practical foundation in programming and problem solving. It’s built around a four-semester sequence of classes that introduces you to the web development process, teaches you to program on the front and the back end, and finishes with a course in managing and customizing a website using a content management system. You’ll take classes that give you programming experience and exposure to system administration, networking, and database management concepts. The program also introduces you to the graphic design, photography, and typography concepts you’ll need to communicate with web designers.
