The current exhibition at the Rural Heritage Museum at Mars Hill University is "A Cabinet of Curiosities: Selections From the Permanent Collection." The exhibit, which will be displayed through December 30, 2018, features late 19th century objects once used by Appalachian homesteaders in Western North Carolina. Mars Hill University's Theatre Arts Department would like to welcome any interested members of the community to audition for North Carolina’s premier of Disney’s Freaky Friday: The Musical. Auditions are at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26th in the Owen Theatre. Anyone auditioning should have two contrasting songs 16-32 bars and a 60 second monologue memorized for the audition. We’ll be making some old-timey holiday crafts to decorate our tree and we’d love for you to join us and make a craft either for our tree or to take home!
