Angels, Demons, and the Human Imagination at Work
Join Professor of Religion Marc Mullinax (MHC ’77) in an introductory lesson to one of his most popular classes. We “imagine” the angelic and the demonic as part of politics, religion, music, literature, and we can even talk about angelic places like heaven or demonic places like hell. Each of these items has a history: someone once “imagined” these, and now we do, too. Why? Join Marc as we talk about the angelic and demonic images in our brains … and how they got there!
There is no advance reading, just a rollicking good time in the classroom!

Dedication Ceremonies – 4 PM

Dedications in memory of Dr. Teresa Stern in the Nash Garden on the south side of Nash Education Building, and Mrs. Beverly Hough on the first floor of the Nash Education Building.
