Sigma Alpha Omega Christian Sorority was founded in 1998 at NC State University and has grown throughout the years reaching many campuses along the way. It was chartered at the Mars Hill University campus in January 2016 and currently has nine active members.
Our Mission:
“To glorify God by reaching women across the world through the expansion of the sisterhood, by encouraging spiritual development through Christ‐inspired accountability and unity, by participating in evangelistic and philanthropic endeavors, and focusing on good scholarship and humble leadership.”
What makes us different:
We regularly hold Bible studies, worship events, and prayer nights for our sisters, and encourage deepening relationships with the Lord. Our main focus is on the Lord, and we are a non-denominational sorority.
