Mars Hill University has had a long, rich relationship with fraternities and sororities. These organizations provide students a robust co-curricular experience with an emphasis on campus and community involvement. While our organizations were founded upon differing ideals and beliefs, we all share four common values. Those values are leadership, service, scholarship, and friendship.
Contact Campus Engagement and Leadership for more information.
Recruitment is a process that gives students an opportunity to get to know our organizations. Typically, this process is conducted in the first few weeks of each semester and is one weeklong. Follow us on Instagram @MHU_FSL to stay up to date on each organization’s recruitment activities!
Any first-year students wishing to take part in Recruitment/Intake must have a minimum 2.7 high school cumulative GPA verified by the Coordinator of Campus Engagement and Leadership. All transfer or continuing students must have a minimum 2.5 college cumulative GPA verified by the Coordinator of Campus Engagement and Leadership.
Intake is the process in which an aspirant who is interested in a National Pan- Hellenic Council (NPHC) organization participates in to receive membership. Each organization’s requirements are different and set forth by their national headquarters.
Currently, we have one NPHC organization on the Mars Hill University campus: Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated
