The MHU Conferences and Events Office is available to help coordinate use of the campus facilities, including dorms, meeting areas, auditorium, athletic amenities, and more by external groups. Whether you are a non-profit organization, corporation, church, athletic organization, or other, our experienced staff can help you plan and host your workshops, camps, conferences, concerts, meetings, and other programs on the Mars Hill University campus during the summer months.

Accommodations: We can provide affordable accommodations for your group. Campus dormitories include Bailey, Brown, Dogwood, Fox, Gibson, Huffman, Laurel, Myers, Stroup, and Turner—plus a limited number of kitchen-equipped apartments.

Other Accommodations: Along with the residential halls, the MHU Conference and Events Office offers many locations for individual groups as well as practice parlors. There are several classroom/lecture rooms that are available for instruction or routine honing. The office also provides open spaces for larger groups such as the upper quad and intramural fields. There is a covered pavilion that can be used if you want the feel of the outdoors but the security of being out of the elements.

Food Service: Good food and good service are essential to an enjoyable conference or workshop experience. To that end, Mars Hill University has partnered with Chartwells, a premier college food-service provider, to ensure that healthy and tasty dining options are available. Pittman Dining Hall, the campus cafeteria, offers an all-you-can-eat buffet with an entrée bar, deli sandwiches, a hamburger/hotdog grill, dessert, drink, and a fresh salad bar. The building also has two smaller dining rooms which can be reserved for special functions.
