Mars Hill University’s Adult and Graduate Studies (AGS) programs have been serving non-traditional learners in western North Carolina since the 1970s. An enrollment path for working adults, Mars Hill’s Adult and Graduate Studies programs provide an opportunity for students to begin or complete an undergraduate degree, graduate degrees or teacher licensure and licensure add-ons . AGS programs are core to the university’s mission of educating students to be leaders in their professions and communities. Students benefit from small classes, dedicated faculty, and evening schedules that meet the needs of working professionals. Online courses are available within some programs, and our Business Management degree is 100 percent online, along with our MACJ graduate program and intelligence certificate.
Adult Studies classes are offered on campus, online and in Asheville and Burnsville, NC. Enrollment may be for one course or for several each semester. Some classes are offered in a short term format (9-week terms), while others meet throughout an entire semester (16 weeks).
