Breathing Room – a space on campus for yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. We offer open community classes, classes for academic credit, and a quiet place for reflection.

Body

Wellness Center – the health facility for the campus community. It provides primary care for full-time students.

Fitness Center – Taylor Fitness Center is a well-stocked workout space with machines and free weights. It is open to all MHU students, faculty and staff.

Pool – Harrell Pool is open to students, faculty and staff for free-swim hours.

Outdoor Center – Our goal is to encourage all students, regardless of experience level, to enjoy the university’s unique location in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Trips and are offered throughout the year and include activities such as: hiking, backpacking, whitewater rafting, skiing, and rock climbing.

Spirit

Chaplain’s Office – provides a safe place for students to share what is going on in their lives, and to help students, faculty, and staff integrate faith and learning.

Crossroads – the weekly chapel service at MHU designed to examine that place where faith meets reason. it is about examining the impact of a living faith on the individual and on the world.

Hester Center for Peach and Justice – promotes responsible discussion and action centered in Christian perspectives on issues of peace and justice for the world and for human society.
