Mars Hill University Summer School offers online summer classes that are geared for both traditional and professional populations, allowing students to catch up, continue making progress or get ahead during the summer months. Some financial aid is available, particularly for North Carolina students.

Summer Programming

During the summer months, we also offer summer programs like the Summer Goals Program and the MHU Launch Program.
Additionally, there are many summer camp opportunities available on our campus for people of all ages and interests!

Financial aid for summer school is available for most students.  To discuss your eligibility, please be sure you have completed your FAFSA and contact your Financial Aid counselor.

Traditional Undergraduate Students

  • Take Courses with your regular professors and earn credits with no transfer hassle
  • Earn hours to remain academically or athletically eligible
  • Take a needed course you have been unable to get at other times, or GET AHEAD! 

Summer School is divided into five-week terms and includes both short and full term courses in online formats, and one term that includes seated classes on campus. Summer School courses are open to all Mars Hill students. You will register for classes through Self-Service after confirming with your advisor. Some scholarships may be available.

AGS Students

You can begin a degree program over the summer. Continuing to take classes over the summer also will help you make progress toward your degree.

If you are a new student looking to start a degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Psychology or Social Work, apply today. We will help you through the process from there!
