Mountain Heritage Students Awarded Scholarships to Mars Hill University

Mars Hill University presented scholarships to four graduating seniors at Mountain Heritage High School in Burnsville during the high school’s Evening of Excellence ceremony.

Among the recipients is Alyssa Jamerson, who earned the Mars Hill University/Madison County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. Alyssa is a Madison County resident, but attends high school at Mountain Heritage. She was selected following a competitive process which included submission of an essay on the topic of economic development for Madison County.

Other Mountain Heritage students who received scholarships to Mars Hill are Hannah Robinson, Ashley Ruff, and Kelsy Sullivan.
