Kristine Lee

Dr. Kristine Lee is proud to be the Student Support and Pre-Nursing Advisor for the Judge-McRae School of Nursing (JMSON). Kristine is passionate about promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the nursing program and the healthcare field. She believes that care for others requires empathy, willingness to learn from diverse perspectives, and equitable standards of care, access to education, and opportunities for work.

For over a decade, Kristine worked in the healthcare field providing direct care and developmental therapies. She specialized in working with patients with disabilities and is excited to pair her love for the healthcare field with her teaching and advising in this position. Kristine currently teaches composition and occasional literature courses for the English department, Freshman Seminar, and General Education courses. As the Student Support and Pre-Nursing Advisor, Kristine will advise pre-nursing students and support them as needs arise, teach courses, manage the JMSON social media pages, and assist with Nursing Information sessions and other departmental needs. She is excited about equipping students in the Nursing program with confidence, support, and encouragement as they pursue their studies and ultimately, their dreams to work in the healthcare field. The Judge-McRae School of Nursing provides students with a caring and professional environment to gain the education, skills, and experience needed for work in the nursing field. Kristine is delighted to be part of this essential mission.
