Mn-Jeong KwonMin-Jeong Kwon was born in South Korea and completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree in economics at University of Seoul. She came to the U.S. 2016 for the Ph.D. program for business administration at Wayne State University in Michigan. She graduated August 2023 with a specialty in finance. She taught two finance courses (Business Finance and Investments) at Wayne State University as a part-time instructor for four years.

Dr. Kwon’s teaching interest is Corporate Finance, Personal Finance, International Finance, and Investments, and her research interest is Corporate Social Responsibility, Share Repurchases, Divestitures, and Top-Management Team. She has presented at several conferences, including FMA, SWFA, and EFA and has published two papers in peer-reviewed journals.

She is new to North Carolina and looking forward to living here with great colleagues, staff, and students at Mars Hill University.
