Mars Hill University Wind Symphony to Perform in Buncombe, Caldwell, Gaston, and McDowell Counties

The Mars Hill University Wind Symphony’s spring band tour will include performances in Buncombe, Caldwell, Gaston, and McDowell counties. The 36-member ensemble is under the direction of the university’s director of bands, Michael Robinson. This year’s tour stops are:

Monday, February 27
9:00 a.m. – McDowell High School in Marion
1:30 p.m. – Owen High School in Black Mountain

Tuesday, February 28
12:00 p.m. – Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir

Wednesday, March 1
1:00 p.m. – Bessemer City High School in Bessemer City

Mars Hill alumni in those areas who wish to attend the performances at the high schools should check in at the school office and obtain a visitor pass. The Lenoir performance at the civic center is open to the public.
