Six registered nurses completing their bachelor of science in nursing degrees this spring or summer were recognized Friday evening, May 12, 2017, at a pinning ceremony at Mars Hill University. The six are the second group of students to complete the R.N. to B.S.N. (registered nurse to bachelor of science in nursing) program through the university’s Judge-McRae School of Nursing.
Annette Austin of Waynesville, North Carolina; Edward Burgin of Asheville, North Carolina; Katrina Dodson of Marshall, North Carolina; Brittney Hopson of Spruce Pine, North Carolina; and Audrey Shomper of Hendersonville, North Carolina; will receive their degrees during Mars Hill’s spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 13. Teisha Lewis of Arden, North Carolina, will complete her requirements over the summer.
