Message to All Students: Symptom Tracking Requirements

Dear Residential and Commuter students,

I hope you have had a great start to your semester. Please read this important announcement below regarding symptom tracking. All students who attend classes on campus–whether you are a residential or commuter student, must complete the symptom tracker on SWOL everyday—including weekends. This practice has been identified as an effective way to keep us healthy and safe here at MHU. Please see the specific instructions below:

Student Athletes- follow the guidance from your athletic trainer about when you should be submitting your results each day.

Non-Student Athletes- You must submit your results on SWOL by 12 noon each day.

***Failure to consistently record your symptoms each day will result in follow-up through our student conduct system that could include separation from University housing. Specifically, students who fail to submit their tracking on SWOL for a total of three days each week (starting on a Sunday ending on Saturday) will result in one COVID violation. This begins Sunday, February 7, 2021. For more information about instructions on how to log-on, please visit the site below. Please be sure to get set-up before this Sunday or sooner.

SWOL Instructions

Thank you to those who have been submitting their results each day! Let’s continue to help one another by doing what we have to do to keep us safe here on the hill!

Best,

Brian Wells Daniel
