A recent Mars Hill University graduate is one of ten college students to receive a prestigious award through Alpha Chi, the national college honor society. Coral Foster, who graduated in December, received the H. Y. Benedict Fellowship to pursue her graduate studies. The honor was announced at Alpha Chi’s national convention earlier this month.

Alpha Chi is comprised of juniors and seniors with GPA in the top 10% of their class. The society’s purpose is to to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students, and to honor those who achieve such distinction.
