Blue Ridge Old Time Music Week offers beginning, intermediate and advanced lessons in most acoustical instruments, including guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass, dulcimer and mandolin, as well as instruction in harmony singing and watercolor arts. It provides a nurturing and safe environment for students of all ages to learn from master old-time musicians.

The camp offers both residential and commuter options. In addition to intensive morning classes, attendees also may elect to participate in afternoon mini classes ranging from flatfooting to shape note singing. Participants are encouraged to join in impromptu jam sessions throughout the week and to experience the mastery of the instructors performing nightly concerts.
