Esports CoD Completes Outstanding Season

The Mars Hill University Esports Call of Duty team has emerged as a rising force in collegiate competition, completing the spring 2025 season with a 49–5 overall record and five championship titles.

The Lions’ successful campaign concluded with a victory in the Playfly Varsity Division, defeating Newberry College in the Grand Finals matchup. This championship win caps a semester marked by consistent performance and strategic gameplay.

The team secured a 5th place national finish in the College CoD League (CCL), with their only losses coming against the #2 and #4 ranked teams in close matchups. Mars Hill also made a strong showing in the CXP circuit, finishing as runners-up after a competitive final against the top-ranked team.

During the Spring 2025 season, the Lions earned five championship titles:
