Dr. Deborah Wiltshire is Director of Nursing at the Judge-McRae School of Nursing. Her educational credentials include the following: Associate Degree in Nursing from Western Piedmont Community College; Bachelor Degree in Nursing from UNC-Greensboro; Master Degree in Nursing Administration from UNC-Greensboro; and Doctoral Degree in Adult and Community College Education from NC State University.
Dr. Wiltshire’s nursing practice career encompasses 26 years at Grace Hospital in Morganton, NC, in a variety of positions: medical-surgical staff nursing; postpartum staff nursing; nursery staff nursing; float staff nursing; and nursing supervision.
Dr. Wiltshire’s teaching career of 27 years spans a variety of degree, program, and academic settings. She has shared her expertise in the BSN program at Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory, NC (Adjunct Faculty); the PN at Isothermal Community College in Spindale, NC (faculty member and program Director); the RN to BSN program at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC (on-line clinical instruction); and currently the pre-licensure BSN program at Mars Hill University in Mars Hill, NC.
