Dr. Joanna Tapp Pierce is a scholar of modernist British literature, primarily working with women writers, literature of The Great War, feminist theory, and ecocriticism. Dr. Pierce has taught a wide variety of courses at MHU, including composition courses, language & popular culture, women writers, 19th- & 20th-Century British literature and survey courses, senior seminar, and the introduction to the major, ENG210. Dr. Pierce also serves as Director of advising.
