Profile

Tavleen Kochar was born and raised in Anaheim, California. She obtained a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Redlands before making her way to North Carolina, where she completed her Ph.D. in chemistry with an emphasis in analytical chemistry at UNC Chapel Hill. She has previously taught at UNC and USC Aiken. Her research interests involve developing and characterizing novel instrumental techniques for improved analyte detection in biological and environmental applications.
