I have been in The field of education for 45 years. I have been: P-K-12 teacher, assistant principal for primary and elementary schools, district office math coordinator, professional development coordinator for middle and high schools and teacher of higher ed. I have a B.A. In English and M.Ed. In Early Childhood Curriculum & Supervision from UNCC, and a Ph.D. In Education from USC-Columbia.
I am currently Coordinator of the Elementary Education Program at MHU. I have written several articles and book chapters on assorted elementary topics. I have presented at local, state, national and international Conferences. I have papers published in the ERIC database.
