Mars Hill University Announces 2020-2021 University Marshals

Fifteen students have been selected as university marshals for Mars Hill University for the 2020-2021 academic year. University marshal is the highest academic honor at Mars Hill University. To be selected as one of the university marshals, a student must have completed 3-5 full-time semesters at Mars Hill and have the highest grade point averages among the rising junior and senior classes. University marshals assist with commencement ceremonies, convocations, and other academic events.

Marshals for the 2020-2021 academic year are:

• Sarah Goddard of Las Vegas, Nevada
• Alyssa Marie Jenkins of Concord, North Carolina
• Virginia Anne Joy of Lusby, Maryland
• Paige Aikens Massey of Weaverville, North Carolina
• Kaylee Erin McMurray of Spruce Pine, North Carolina
