The musical is based on the screenplay for the Fellini film “Nights of Cabiria” and follows the adventures of a dance hall hostess named Charity Hope Valentine as she searches for love and happiness in New York City. With its memorable score and classic story, Sweet Charity has become a beloved musical theater classic, and has been performed countless times all over the world.
