Round Robin Ballad Circle

Join us for an informal Appalachian ballad circle in honor of singer and storyteller Bobby McMillon, and as part of the Bobby McMillon Legacy Project funded by a grant from South Arts. Ballads are traditional songs that tell stories and Madison County is known world-wide for its ballad-singing tradition. At a round robin, singers will sit in a circle and take turns sharing a song. You are welcome to come and listen, but if you know a traditional Appalachian ballad, please let us know!
