Author Jo Ann Croom (a retired MHU professor) will join us to discuss her new book, No Work in the Grave, which explores her family during the early 20th century transition from a subsistence farming way of life to an industrialized wage-earner economy, with its loss of community and environmental hazards. Croom’s talk will be introduced by Jim Stokely, Dykeman’s son and president of the Wilma Dykeman Legacy, publishers of No Work in the Grave. Books will be available for purchase.
