Night Music: Film Screening hosted by Dom Flemons

April 29 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Night Music is a short film inspired by the prison recordings created by folklorist John Lomax and his son, folklorist Alan Lomax. During the 1930s, the Lomaxes visited prisons in the deep South, including Louisiana’s notorious Angola Penitentiary. The film was written and directed by Lukas Huffman and produced by Huffman Studio in partnership with Grammy Award-winning musician Dom Flemons. Flemons will be on hand to lead a discussion and answer questions after the film.

This event is free, open to all, and seating is first-come/first-served. Be sure to get a ticket for Flemons’ seated concert after the film!
