Field Trip to Penland Community Day

Have you ever wanted to try papermaking? To learn how glass is blown? See iron forged up close? Metal embossing? Every year the internationally-renowned Penland School of Craft offers a community open house where Penland’s studios are open to the public for “hands-on studio experiences.” You can read more about it here.

Join us for a free field trip to experience this unique western North Carolina opportunity. Penland is about 45 minutes from campus, and we’ll all drive over together in an MHU mini-bus.
