Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics at Mars Hill University prepares students to collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data to support evidence-based decision-making.  Students develop skills in statistics, programming, data visualization, AI applications, and ethical data practice. We emphasize real-world application through project-based coursework, problem solving, and the integration of data tools used across modern industries.

Career/Graduate School

This program serves both traditional undergraduates and adult learners seeking flexible pathways into STEM, healthcare, or business fields. Specifically, graduates will be prepared for careers in data analytics, business intelligence, health informatics, digital technology, and entry-level data science roles, or for continued study in graduate programs. The major includes badges (certificate of completion) in two courses: AI Essentials for the Workplace and AI Integrity and Ethics.

Data Analytics Minor

The data analytics minor is an interdisciplinary program designed to build quantitative skills for students in any major. This minor prepares students to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data to solve practical problems across many different fields.
