Spilman Hall

Spilman Hall, built in 1903 as Treat Dormitory for men, expanded and renamed to carry the name Spilman to honor NC Baptist leader Dr. B.W. Spilman in 1921 as a Home for Young Women. Today it houses the theatre arts program, the marketing and communications office, and the conferences and events office. The university also provides office space in Spilman for the Madison County Partnership for Children.
