Dr. Carol Boggess, in addition to the composition courses all English faculty teach, regularly teaches the American literature survey, 20th-Century American literature, and Appalachian literature. She also coordinates the college’s interdisciplinary minor in Regional Studies and serves as faculty advisor for the college’s literary magazine, Cadenza. She is the official biographer of famed Appalachian author James Still, and continues to work on completing his biography.
