Tina RathburnRathburn, Kristina N.
Medical Internship in India.

Thanks to the help of Gill and the career center I was able to create an impressive resume, which helped me to earn a medical internship with an NGO in Rajasthan, India. I worked for a month in a rural clinic assisting physicians with patient care, then I spent another month working in the schools teaching health education. This was an invaluable experience as I explored medicine in a third world country. This opportunity also allowed me to gain amazing insight into a career I am strongly interested in.

Update: Tina has since completed graduate training at University for Peace, Costa Rica, and is now teaching high school science in California.

Friddy SolarworldHoegner, Frithjof
Solaworld AG Internship in Germany.

In the summer of 2010 I did an internship with one of the most successful and fastest growing companies in Germany. It's called Solarworld AG and is Europe 2nd biggest solar cell manufacturer. During my internship I was assisting the product development team as well as working on several projects on my own. One of these projects was to design new product labels for the entire product line of Solarworld. The Career Center has helped me to create a strong resume that reflects my strength and abilities and helped me to get internship in Germany, the United States, as well as in Shanghai, China.

Update:With a  Masters in Social Entrepreneurship from the Hult International Business School in London, Friddy is currently employed in North Carolina.
